The Da Vinci Code

ratings of a chipmunk:
2 / 5 baby toes

i will defend the movie to be not as much a 'dud' as a critic claims.
to give the producers and director their due credit, it wasn't all that badly made. images and scenes were rather well done. i guess the real problem is, it wasn't great, as readers of the book would have expected it to be. i for one, have not read the book that has been known to have caused much controversy.

if you spend a second of your precious time to think about it, the beauty of it all is simply the way the author played with a mix of fact and fiction, clouding the reader's ability to differ the real and unreal. yet in order to truely enjoy the book would be to allow yourself to indulge in the world where the truth and tales coexist.

there is no denying that Dan Brown IS a brilliant man.
