where do i begin
shooting com was alright.
saturday night was enlightening.
gig by JJ's friends werent fantastic and the bands at that event were qt substandard.
hangout with T's friends was enriching.
not too bad a hangout place, bar ba black chic.(only upstairs though)
and it has been concluded, that I, do not get trance.
no way no how.
blading at east coast on sunday was nice.
fuyang brought us to geylang for frog porridge, beef kway teow n oyster omelette.
yummers.
tonight i pray that the lord grants me strength, to be patient.
i really need to stop being a biatch about things basically.
especially when it comes to my friends and family.
i would like however to see them grow up.
to be more responsible and of course CONSIDERATE.
it sucks to have to be stuck between speaking what you think is right and trying to be graceful about things that annoy you.
things like offering to help to clear up, not leaving your drinks all over the house and not being a party spoiler.
yes ill love you all the same and perhaps ive always allowed you to take forgranted certain formalities.
but do not take forgranted or take advantage the kindness offered to you.
could it be an issue of age, or the stage of life you've experienced.
i was sitting there thinking,
my college, uni friends have never once acted like that.
how proud i felt when the boys were making sure that the house was as they entered after games night the other day. clearing the room, packing the tables and chairs, clearing their own mess. on their own initiative.
gabriel and liting making hell sure that they did the dishes.
but the PS bunch has yet to learn. and similarly has gene and company the last i saw them.
it's just really frustrating sometimes, especially when u have to feel bad for being a nag.
which brings me to think that it's really hard not to be elitist, because upbringing and culture really does matter.
which brings me back to why tonight i shall pray for patience, for i could try to handle it better. try to hold my tongue. not to bitch about it. hoping that i am really just being picky.
beyond the bitchiness for today,
night blading was fun fun fun.
elbow hurts abit from the fall, with bits of cuts and bruises here and there, but alls good.
was trying do pull off some stunts when i lost balance. *chuckle* anyways im qt sure i aint the one who got the most hurting. heh.
so here i am on my bed, home from blading and after a good shower, ready to close my eyes and lose myself in slumber.
busy days. so much to do, so little time.
love,
karen
